I’ve decided that I will no longer be updating this blog, and will let it go when my subscription runs out next June. I can’t deal with the Gutenburg block editor that WP has forced on its users when all I need is a simple text editor, and will be moving shop to another platform as soon as I can find one. I will post here when I have my new blog site up and running. Thanks for following me!
Let us know where you go, I enjoy your take on Tarot. I fully understand your decision, I dumped my old WP blog for the same reason a couple of months ago

Right now I’m looking at Wix and Godaddy, both of which are highly rated. Any recommendations are welcome.

Whatever you do, back up and transfer your blog over to the other side. 😉
I spent a few hours this evening with the WP support to help update my site over to blocks.
It wasn’t too bad.
I don’t know how long I’ll stay on WP as it is a platform primarily for writers and my metaphysical practice has been evolving in recent months where I find less writing and more video content. We will see how all this pans out. 🌙 ✨

Block Editor is not difficult to use. 😀

As I understand it, the Gutenberg block editor wasn’t ready for prime time but they rolled it out anyway. To be honest, I haven’t seen an excellent text editor since WordPerfect.

You ought to be able to select Classic Editor, instead of the new one (I agree, it’s woeful).

I did (repeatedly) but it keeps reverting to the new toolbar and I have to keep trying to recover the old one. It’s what is known in the vernacular as a “POS,” and it was driving me crazy.
