Here is a spread designed to examine situations where an individual must interact with another person or entity to undertake an initiative of some kind when one or both of them may not be fully on-board with the arrangement. I could see using it in any scenario involving controversial legislative action in the present US government, or for an election outcome. It could also be useful for creative projects where the proposing individual has hurdles to jump, or employment opportunities where the “Seeker” is the candidate, the “Other” is the hiring authority and the “Gatekeeper” is corporate culture or policy. It makes extensive use of court-card facing and reversals to reveal areas of alignment and dissent.
