Consider the Source

Much of what I post here originates with my conversations on a couple of the more active tarot forums. Following the demise of Aeclectic Tarot after 17 years (thank you, Kate; I’m reminded of the Douglas Adams book title “So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish”), the community splintered and fetched up in a handful of different places. There are three that I frequent more-or-less daily. If my readers want to seek them out and perhaps join, it will be time well spent. The only thing I regret with the loss of AT is that the lively group of esoteric thinkers seems to have evaporated, including both the occult tarot enthusiasts and the astrologers. Here are the links; there are certainly other cartomancy forums and any number of blogs out there, but these are the ones I’m most familiar with. You will find me there as “Barleywine,” and talking about tarot in those venues is much more convenient than trading comments here, where reader commentary is random and rare.
