I have always been fascinated by the idea that a relationship between two people (or two of “anything”) is really a three way proposition; it involves the two parties to the situation and the relationship itself, which can become “bigger than both of them” and require dedicated care and feeding by both participants to avoid becoming dysfunctional. The “too big to fail” debacle with the international banking industry is a good example of just such a toxic relationship between government and private interests on a grand scale.
I created a spread that looks at this from three different perspectives: public, private and interactive. It requires three decks to ensure that all cards are available to each participating entity. I use reversals but its not mandatory.
